today i started my new job.. friday i had to fill out tons and tons of paper work..
one of the forms i had to sign was an oath of allegiance to defend the constitution of the united states as well as the constitution of califorina... interesting.. never had to fill that one out before..

i wonder if before you pledged your allegiance whether you read the documents to which you pledged to follow with your being to defend, protect and preserve.
i hope you did, and hope you do frequently; perhaps annually to remind yourself of your pledge to help create a more perfect union and to help establish justice (quite the up-hill battle these days!).
thank you for starting out by at least paying attention that you just pledged your honor to do those things ... most people, just sign and go on to filling out the rest of the documents!
